PRIVATE PLACEMENT
Eighteen months after its Seed round with prestigious business angels including Rodolphe Belmer (Eutelsat), Gregory Dray (Google) and Pierre-Antoine Capton (Mediawan), French leading podcast production studio Paradiso Media today announces it has raised its Series A round from complementary investors to expand its catalogue and accelerate its international development.
Co-founded by Lorenzo Benedetti (ex-Studio Bagel), Louis Daboussy (ex-Konbini) and Benoit Dunaigre (ex-Havas), Paradiso Media creates, produces and distributes premium scripted, documentary and kids content for international platforms, with the ambition to offer unique audio experiences to a wide audience.
Over the past twelve months, Paradiso Media has produced over 20 programs (L’Affaire B52, Frootch, Brut, Défense de Filmer, Mes 14 ans, Habana business club, À Propos de mon film, Chosen, Cornebidouille, L’École des Loisirs à écouter, etc.) for major streaming platforms in France and the US.
Today, Paradiso Media’s catalogue totals more than 100 hours multilingual audio programs, cumulating several million listens.
The new funds will be used to support Paradiso’s international ambition by continuing to create, produce and distribute multilingual audio programs.
“After 2 years of activity, Paradiso Media begins a new stage of its development. Thanks to the support of our business angels, we have achieved a leading position in France in a competitive market through the creation of high value-added programs that have been widely successful. Alongside with audio platforms (Audible, Spotify, Deezer, Sybel…) and thanks to the support of Swen Capital Partners, Alliance Entreprendre and the Tech & Touch fund managed by Bpifrance, we will implement an international and multi-format strategy to make our creations heard, and soon seen.” states Lorenzo Benedetti, CEO and co-founder of Paradiso Media.
